The curriculum vitae represents an academic to others. There are many different forms and formats. Here I present one that I think works well.  I talk a little bit about the idea of the c.v. as well as the major organizational pieces of it and how you can optimize the format so your readers will travel well in trajectories that your organization anticipates.
